Big bottles of shampoo and vatts of mouthwash can now be welcomed aboard in your hand luggage with anything up to two litres set to be allowed.

That could soon be a thing of the past - London City Airport have just scrapped the 100ml liquid rule in time for the Easter Holidays this year.

Nothing can kill your pre-holiday buzz, but being handed one of those plastic baggies to awkwardly transfer all your liquids to, having just got over the ordeal of meticulously ensuring all of them are 100ml or below the night before.
